Supplies

PDSR will provide all foster homes with bowls/food/leash/collar or harness, a crate and blanket or bed

Dog Parks

Off Leash

The Foster agrees that the dog must not be off leash except in a fenced private area

Immunity

The Foster understands that any dog of any age that has not completed both initial vaccinations and booster vaccine must not be in any public places but must remain on the fosters property until the vaccines are completed

FAQ resources

Foster has reviewed the foster FAQ manual and will be open and ask questions accordingly where there may be confusion or uncertainty

First Right of Refusal

Foster acknowleges they have up to 3-weeks to decide if they are “foster fails”, otherwise applications for adoptions will proceed as usual. Should a foster wish to keep their foster, adoption contract must be completed at that time

Reporting and Communications

Foster will provide weekly updates on their foster dog, including photos for social media

Vacations/away

Foster will not arrange pet sitters or home stays without prior consent from rescue
